The following article will guide you on how to integrate Slack with Caspio directories. Thanks to such integration, you will be able to:<\/span><\/p>

  • Allow your users to sign-in to Slack with their Caspio accounts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>

    Before you start:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Ensure you have an account in Slack.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    1. Sign in to your Slack administrator account.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
    2. Click on the name to expand a dropdown and select <\/span>Settings & administration<\/span><\/b>, then open <\/span>Workspace settings<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
    3. Select the Authentication<\/strong> tab.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
    4. Select <\/span>Configure<\/span><\/b> next to <\/span>SAML authentication<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
    5. In <\/span>Caspio<\/span> directories, in the <\/span><\/span>App connections <\/span><\/span><\/strong>tab, click <\/span><\/span>Create App Connection<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. You will need to fill in <\/span><\/span>Identifier (Identity ID)<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and <\/span><\/span>Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL)<\/span><\/span><\/strong> fields with the URLs from step 7.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
    6. In Slack, in the<\/span> <\/span>SAML 2.0 Endpoint (HTTP)<\/span><\/span><\/strong> section<\/span>, select<\/span> <\/span>Custom SAML Instructions<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.\"\"<\/span><\/span><\/li>

              1. In directories, create a test user, making sure the email address is the same as in Slack.<\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n
              2. Activate a user with <\/span>Generate password<\/span><\/b>, clear the <\/span>User must change password on first login <\/span><\/b>checkbox.<\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n
              3. Open app connections and add a user to a newly created app connection with Slack.<\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  2. Hover over an app connection and select <\/span>Open<\/span><\/b>.<\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n
